Are you a passionate 16–25-year-old with a love for photography and creativity?
Join our Youth Panel, a collaborative team that shapes our exhibitions, events, and outreach projects. Work directly with curators, artists, and educators to co-create dynamic workshops, digital projects, and museum experiences!

Our panel is open to anyone between the ages of 16 and 25. No previous experience is required – just a passion for photography and creativity!
What's involved?
Our Youth Panel is made up of passionate and creative young people who are dedicated to exploring and shaping the future of photography.
Each member plays a vital role in shaping the future of contemporary photography at Photo Museum Ireland.

Meetings: Participate in five meetings annually to discuss and plan upcoming events, exhibitions, and programming.

Team Collaboration: Work as part of a diverse team, sharing ideas and contributing to the direction of the Museum’s youth-focused projects.

Co-creating Events & Resources: Help design and deliver creative events, workshops, and resources inspired by the Museum’s collection and exhibitions.
Empowering Young Voices in Photography

Shaping the Future of Photography: Play a key role in influencing how contemporary photography is experienced and explored at the Museum.

Behind-the-Scenes Experience: Gain insight into the workings of a leading museum, and work alongside arts professionals and curators.

Networking Opportunities: Meet other young people who share your passion for photography and creativity, and build connections in the arts community.

Creative Growth: Develop your leadership skills and creative thinking while collaborating on events and projects that make an impact.

Access to Events & Workshops: In addition to supporting the planning of events and workshops, you’ll have the opportunity to take part in them for free!
