Shared Histories is a cross-border Artist-in-the-Community project that weaves together archival family album photographs and contemporary images to reflect on photographic representations of the borderlands in Ireland.

Led by commissioned artist and curator Ben Malcolmson, this cross-border initiative has brought together participants from diverse border communities in Donegal, Derry~Londonderry, Fermanagh, Armagh, Down, Louth, and Monaghan to explore photographic representations and share their diverse experiences of living in the borderlands.

This public event will feature an edited selection of personal stories, family photographs, and artistic contributions from participants from diverse border communities along with a new video work by project curator and artist Ben Malcolmson.

The event will also include a live DJ set and refreshments.
