As part of Dublin by Dusk, join us at Photo Museum Ireland for the launch of Acts of Defiance by photographer Rose Comiskey — a compelling visual record of the Irish Women’s Movement and the collective acts of protest, resilience, and solidarity that helped shape modern Ireland.

Through powerful photography and rich archival material, Acts of Defiance captures moments of activism and social change across decades, offering both a historical document and a timely reflection on citizenship, equality, and public voice.

The evening will feature an introduction by Rose Comiskey, followed by a book signing and an opportunity to meet the artist. Light refreshments will be served.

Copies of Acts of Defiance will be available on the night, or can be pre-ordered in advance.
