This analog printing workshop led by Edu Vargas will give you an insight on the basics of Silver Gelatine printing. Eduardo will also explain how further workshops in toning and printing with Silver Gelatin paper can really make your negatives reach their full potential.

What will I learn?

• How to set up a Darkroom, equipment, chemicals and workspace.
• The correct use of photography enlargers for 35mm and 120mm negatives.
• How to make a great contact sheet and look after your negatives.
• How to make and read your test prints.
• Learn how to use multi grade filters to get the best tonal range in your photographic print.
• Learn burning and dodging techniques to enhance the light and shade in your photograph.
• Make your final print and learn how to wash and dry our prints properly.
