Photo Museum Ireland are delighted to be working with Culture Club to offer a tour of the Taylor Wessing Irish Photo Prize 2026 and a Digital Negatives and Darkroom printing workshop.

Participants will step into the Darkroom and be introduced to the various materials and equipment needed to make their very own unique photographic artwork.

This workshop will give Culture Club participants the opportunity to learn more about photography and try making their own artworks as part of a small group. Participants will have access to Photo Museum Ireland’s darkroom facilities and learn directly from darkroom artist Darragh Shanahan, while also being introduced to new photographic work through tours of the Museum’s exhibitions.

Culture Club aims to encourage lasting, long-term engagement with the cultural spaces of Dublin.

Culture Club is a series of hosted talks and tours that introduce and encourage people to connect with the cultural spaces of the city.

We invite people to see, experience and learn about Dublin’s cultural places.

Events are free but should be booked in advance.
