Young Photographer Awards 2025 | Winners
This annual initiative celebrates the creativity and vision of young people aged 8–18, offering them a national platform to share how they see the world.
Now in its fourth year, the Young Photographer Awards continues to champion emerging talent, supporting the next generation of image-makers as they explore photography in bold and imaginative ways. The winning and selected works will be displayed on large-scale outdoor exhibition panels, transforming Mary Lavin Place into a vibrant public gallery. This prominent outdoor exhibition is made possible through the generous support of IPUT, whose commitment to public art enables young voices to be seen at scale in the heart of the city.
The exhibition showcases a wide range of photographic approaches — from portraits and landscapes to street photography, nature, black-and-white work, and conceptual image-making. Each photograph reflects the curiosity, honesty, and originality that young artists bring to the medium.
The Young Photographer Awards 2025 is supported by IPUT and curated by Photo Museum Ireland. The project reflects our ongoing commitment to nurturing visual literacy, supporting youth creativity, and expanding access to contemporary photography nationwide.
