Introduction to 35mm SLR Film Photography and Darkroom Printing

Have you ever wanted to learn film photography and darkroom printing?

Well this is the perfect course for you, over two Saturdays you will dive into this fascinating world of film photography and darkroom printing and learn new skills that will improve your way of seeing.

We are delighted to offer this new course with experienced analogue photographer and master printer Eduardo Vargas.

Edu is clearly a passionate analogue photography advocate! Knows his stuff and was all too happy to share past failures and successes from his own darkroom wizardry! Really went through everything with us and took time to spend some time with each of us in the class. Benefits of a small darkroom!

I had a brilliant day at Photo Museum Ireland’s workshop, I started the day with no previous printing experience at all, and I left feeling confident to use a darkroom by myself and excited to experiment further with printing. If you are wanting to “demystify” the darkroom and hone your skills in analogue processes, I would highly recommend the Photo Museum Ireland courses!
