Terms and Conditions for "The Memories of Others" Book Giveaway

1. Eligibility:

  • The competition is open to residents of Ireland only.

  • Participants must be 18 years or older at the time of entry.

  • Employees of Photo Museum Ireland, Prestel, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

2. How to Enter:

  • Follow both @prestel and @photomuseumireland on Instagram.

  • Tag a friend in the comments section of the giveaway post.

  • Multiple entries are allowed, but each entry must tag a different person.

  • Entries must be received before the competition closes on 12 June 2024.

3. Prizes:

  • The prize consists of one copy of "The Memories of Others" photobook.

  • The number of winners will be specified in the giveaway post.

  • Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.

4. Winner Selection and Notification:

  • Winners will be chosen at random from all eligible entries.

  • Winners will be notified via direct message on Instagram within 7 days of the competition closing.

  • Winners must respond within 3 days to claim their prize. If no response is received, an alternate winner will be selected.

5. Privacy:

  • By entering the competition, participants agree to the use of their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

  • Personal data collected during the competition will be used in accordance with Photo Museum Ireland's privacy policy.

6. General Conditions:

  • Photo Museum Ireland reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the competition if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the competition.

  • Photo Museum Ireland is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate information, technical errors, or unauthorized human intervention in the competition.

  • By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and the decisions of Photo Museum Ireland, which are final and binding in all respects.

7. Limitation of Liability:

  • By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Photo Museum Ireland and Prestel, their affiliates, partners, and employees from any and all liability, injury, loss, or damage arising from or in connection with the competition or any prize won.

8. Governing Law:

  • The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Irish law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
